The Center for Advancing Health Services, Policy & Economics Research merged our monthly meetings (formerly known as CHEPAR) with the Center for Administrative Data Research users’ group meeting to create the Health Services Research (HSR) Collaborative seminar series.
These meetings take place on the second Wednesday of the month and are open to Washington University faculty, staff, students and external collaborators.

Karen Joynt Maddox’s specific research interests include improving the measurement of the quality and efficiency of physicians, hospitals, and health systems; understanding the impact of policy interventions on health care, with a focus on value-based and alternative payment models; and reducing disparities in care, with a focus on vulnerable populations including racial and ethnic minorities, individuals living in poverty, individuals with disabilities, frail elders, and those in rural areas.

The Taylor Avenue Building is just one block east of the Central West End MetroLink station.
Free, limited visitor parking is available in two-hour increments in the lot in front of the building along Taylor Avenue.
